Hi all,

Simon's right - we have not been very faithful to this blog. Gotta put in more effort to keep in touch with each other! I admit, I am very guilty of this crime too. There are no valid reasons for this. Life has its way of creating rifts between old friends, I guess. So maybe we all should take a step back and consider Simon's words. Maybe we all need to put in more effort! Hopefully this and Simon's post can kick-start things a little. Hahaha!

I have officially completed my university course. As of 10 December 2010, I am a graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering! And come March, will be starting work in an engineering company in Perth. Just another chapter in life I guess. Kinda excited and kinda wanting to stick to the old life too!

The past few weeks have been spent preparing the documents required in the application for an Australian Permanent Residence Visa. Yes, I guess this means that I'll be officially moving to Australia. I can't say for sure whether I'll be staying here for good, as I really like it in Malaysia and my original plan was to eventually return to Kuching!

Will be going home to Kuching on 11 January 2011 and we'll only be returning to Perth at the end of February. It's probably my last long holiday before working life and 21-days-leave-a-year kicks in. I don't know if any of you will be in Kuching when I am, though =(

Girlfriend department: Yes, sudah on! Didn't send another announcement message because I thought the previous message already implied that. Hahaha.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Christmas! Lets be honest here. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Christmas? Be honest. i confess that Jesus was not on my mind, which im ashamed to say la actually. Ahhh malu nya....adoii...anyways. Its not like i think about santa and christmas tree or stuff like that, but my mind wonders instead to Christmas dinners, family time and spending time with frens and love ones. Its not bad, but its not good either. (well at least to me lah...) Those should be the 2nd, 3rd n 4th thing that comes to mind. Not the first. Im doing some reflecting this Christmas because of this, and i hope i provoked something in you guys as well. =)

Hmmm...how come this blog tak ada orang writes anything ah? Is it because that we are all so freaking busy? Nonsense, i think we have plenty of time to do more useless things than updating urself rite. Or, have we all got nothing to say anymore to each other? Baru tadi i check my email, not the recent mail but my earlier mails. Emails sent between frens. Then i look at where we are now. SERIOUS SHIT! Such a huge rift! Even if we were to chat up i wouldnt know what to say. ya sure the customary whats up, where are u know, whats happening, etc. After that? Hmmmm...i kan jarang/tak banyak cakap, only know how to diss people saja. Is it just me or is it everybody as well? I talked to a fren about this, then she said ahhh we should cling to God and not cling to friends. Hhmmm... Dont ask me, i pun sik faham, its not like i abandon God or anything, i just felt so sayang that relationships fade as it did. Perhaps i should learn to "talk". Hhhmmmm.....

Activity....cant recall wad i've been up to for the past few months....just check facebook lah...see the gambar. Nothing worth mentioning i think. Just know im doing well cukup sudah...hahaha...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAYMOND YEO KHANG WEE!!!!!! (Must say it like Simon does, imagine him shouting all the way from KL). Take care in KK. Get your leg fixed. Hopefully, this sem will go fine for you. Our relationship has really grown after leaving school. Hopefully, we will continue to become even closer in the future. Perhaps, I will be a threat to all your future GFs (the same would hold true for everyone here). Take care.

Holiday is coming soon....

I’m smelling something great is coming. Its the semester break!! Hehe.. Eventhough there is still 6 weeks to go, I really can’t wait to go back (See?! I’m even doing the countdown already..) Anyway, when are you guys coming back? Plan up some activities too. Well, I think the plan of going to Bali is kinda too big for me, for now..

Anyway, I’ve got some news here. As you all know, I’ve been suffering from my left leg pain from badminton for exactly a year already (Hoo-ray!!!). The pain is getting worse ever since then. Every night and morning I will have this pain. The pain doesn’t stay at one spot but moves from my left ankle to left hip. The worst part would be my front and back of my knee. I went to see the doctor last month and found out that my left thigh (quadriceps) is 3cm smaller than my right one (that’s how bad it is) Went for X-ray and there is no sign of fracture. If there is a fracture, I wouldn’t be able to walk already. The local clinic has made the appointment with the government specialist in KK here on this “April Fool”. If come to the worst case, I might be going for surgery (say goodbye to my semester break)..

If really need to go for surgery....... I don’t think I want to go back that soon... What?!! 6 weeks left!! Arghh!!!

I guess that’s all for now.. Ohya, Happy April Fool.. Hehe.. Byes and GBU.. ;-)

El-Retardo - Thats a great name, dude.. You must be so proud it.. Haha.. Well, all the best in your Robocon.. I hope the information was useful (which I think not la.. :-p).. If you need some extra information, I would be happy to help out.. I heard some of my friends were quitting Robocon due to the pressures.. So.. Sir, bila mau chia makan? I've been waiting for this moment u know ka?! Good la, at least there is someone taking over my place.. Don't worry, I'll help also whenever available in Kuching.. And by the way, since I'm so hungry now, maybe we can organize BBQ party at your house this CNY holiday la (then can start off the first DOTA/L4D meeting at your house too..) LOL!

As, for me.... Life here is great.. After ikat perut for almost two months here, I finally able to get my loan.. I really wonder if the loan is really helping or just burdening.. Been surviving with Maggie Mee, Nasi Lemak Sexy and Roti Bun Sexy, I really gave up with the fake rumors about when the loan is coming out.. By the way, both the specially named foods are the official food in our college because this guy will surely dropped by my block at least twice every night selling warm nasi lemak and freshly baked buns, everything at the price of RM1.50!!! Well, those who got no energy to leave the room due to krisis kebuluran, those food are the only way out..

Anyway, I'll be coming back on 13 Feb (Sat) reaching Kuching at 9pm.. OMG.. Do you know what does that mean?? I'll go straight to my Granma's house and all I get is, "Ah Bi aa.. Go to the kitchen and heat up the food yourself aa.." Well, thats my 'Reunion Dinner'.. Can't wait meet you guys again.. I'll be free on almost every night.. So, don't shy shy ajak me out la.. Hehe..

Hey guys...

The title of this post was taken from the post that Sze Howe posted on my wall in FB. It was a response to what I posted recently about how I sometimes feel like a geek/nerd. Below is the full post by Sze Howe:

"Geeks and nerds are the leaders of tomorrow. Embrace it, and go forth and be an awesome nerd!"

Yeah, that was the post. It got me thinking. He may be right. I mean, he is right. Look at all the leaders of today. I dare say that they are all geeks and nerds. Well, atlease at some point of theirs lives lah... hehe...

Then, it got me thinking further. If being cool is the opposite to being a geek, does that mean that once your geek-ness goes up, your cool-nest goes down?? But I now personally think that this hypotesis is not true or relevant. Because when I further analyzed myself, I realized that I that much of a geek. I still do things that a geek would not normally do. For example, I can play drums and a bit of guiter...(still learning).

Well, the conclusion is that why do we have to maintain the natural order of some things?? I say some things because there are things that can't or should not change. But in this case, we should some sort like 'mix and match'. Be geeky but still maintain your cool-ness at the same time. Its something like an irony. Basically, be an irony. But don't be too much of an irony though, because too much of something is never good (except for GOD's love). (^_^)

Btw, this friday(12/02/10) I have a presentation in front of the Dean for Robocon. I hope it goes well..... [stress mode]...huhu....

Well, this is just to keep you guys thinking. Exercising the brain.. haha...
